About the position

Responsibilities
- Monitor anesthesia and assist in surgeries.
- Perform dental and general radiography.
- Collect blood samples and process in-house lab samples.
- Administer vaccinations and perform nail trims.
- Express anal glands and conduct heartworm testing.
- Take vital signs and administer SQ, IM, and IV injections.
- Maintain accurate medical records and enter charges.
- Clean animal cages and equipment, and prepare surgery tables and instruments.
- Assist with front desk duties such as answering phone calls and scheduling appointments.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of in-clinic veterinary experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of animal behavior and husbandry.
- Ability to document and analyze information accurately.
- Clinical skills and technical understanding of medical technologies.
