Zurich is seeking a Senior Veterinary Claims Professional to join our Professional Liability - Veterinary Claims Team. The selected candidate will manage a caseload of moderate to high exposure claims against veterinarians and veterinary clinics, including veterinary malpractice claims submitted under the AVMA Veterinary Professional Liability Program. This position requires a strong focus on customer service and the ability to work within a high-performing, self-motivated team environment. The Senior Veterinary Claims Professional will be responsible for all aspects of claims handling, which includes conducting initial investigations, performing coverage reviews and analyses, evaluating liability, and maintaining regular communication with customers and brokers to resolve claims within their authority. The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated claim analysis abilities or experience in a veterinary setting, along with a proven track record of success in previous roles. Independence and the ability to work without substantial supervision are essential for this position. At Zurich North America Claims, we prioritize work-life balance and flexibility. Our hybrid work model allows claims employees to work in their preferred locations while facilitating in-person connections and collaborative activities when necessary. The selected candidate will be expected to report to one of our North American Claims offices, including locations in New York City, NY; Schaumburg, IL; Parsippany, NJ; or Addison, TX.
