About the position

Neel Veterinary Hospital is seeking a full-time Veterinary Client Service Representative who is friendly, outgoing, and customer-service oriented. This role involves providing quality care to clients and their pets in a fast-paced environment, handling various administrative tasks, and ensuring effective communication between clients and veterinary staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, quality customer care to patients and clients.
• Process invoice payments.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and obtain all necessary medical history.
• Determine the status of the patient's immunizations and tests.
• Communicate with the doctor and technical staff on the patient's arrival and necessary treatments.
• Fill prescriptions, food requests, and over-the-counter products as instructed by a veterinarian.
• Accurately input data into computer software.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Weekend availability as needed.
• Ability to lift 30-50 pounds.
