About the position

The Veterinary Technical Solutions Specialist role is designed to provide customer support for BIVI products, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while addressing inquiries and complaints from veterinarians and consumers. This hybrid position requires strong communication skills and a solid understanding of veterinary practices, with responsibilities including documentation, product expertise maintenance, and support for sales representatives.

Responsibilities

  • Address and respond to product inquiries, complaints, and adverse events for BIVI products following regulations (FDA, USDA, EPA).
  • Communicate with veterinarians, consumers, and sales personnel via phone or email.
  • Provide product information, support, and escalate calls when necessary.
  • Document communications in PVWorks and ensure compliance with SOPs.
  • Maintain and update product expertise by attending seminars and reading journals.
  • Support sales representatives and attend veterinary conferences.
  • Report issues or trends, assist in research, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and regulatory compliance experience.
  • Familiar with veterinary practice, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time, work independently, and handle conflict.
  • Knowledge in pharmacovigilance, GMP, and complaint handling.
  • Associate Degree or higher in Life Sciences/Veterinary Technician with 3+ years of experience in a veterinary clinic.
