About the position

The Veterinary District Sales Manager is responsible for executing the Vet Business Unit strategy and achieving business objectives by delivering account-specific sales goals. This role involves identifying clinic opportunities, leveraging sales data, and working cross-functionally to enhance access to clinics and veterinary recommendations within the assigned territory. It is an individual contributor role that requires strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs.
  • Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within assigned geography.
  • Develop and deliver compelling, data-driven presentations to address the unique needs of the Veterinary staff.
  • Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholder groups across the BU & organization.
  • Balance the needs and interests of multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
  • Effectively execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with Line Manager and adjust strategies based on changing needs to maximize territory performance.
  • Manage an expense and sales budget, completing CRM call reports and expense reports in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
  • Possession of a driver's license and a clean driving record.
