About the position

California Animal Rehabilitation (CARE) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time receptionist to join our diverse and growing team at our state-of-the-art facility located in west Los Angeles. Our 8,000 square foot facility represents the gold standard in pet physical rehabilitation, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion for animal care and customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, a professional and positive work ethic, and the ability to work effectively with all departments as part of a cohesive team. As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, and your role will be crucial in ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. You will be responsible for appointment scheduling, managing multi-line phones, processing credit card and cash transactions, filing, record-keeping, and providing general administrative support to our veterinary and management staff. We value attention to detail and the ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment. We are open to training and helping develop your skills as a new receptionist, so prior experience in Cornerstone schedule software, animal care, or a veterinary-health setting is useful but not required. However, a great attitude, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to providing the highest quality patient care are essential. Saturday availability is a must, as our clinic operates on weekends and holidays. Requirements

  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • 1 year of experience as a Front Desk Receptionist (preferred)
  • 1 year of experience in a veterinary clinic setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional and positive work ethic

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Cornerstone schedule software
  • Prior experience in animal care or veterinary-health setting
