About the position
Tropicana Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Veterinary Receptionist to join our fast-paced, 24/7 animal hospital. The role involves providing excellent customer service, assisting clients with check-in/out processes, and maintaining a clean environment. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish, possess strong phone etiquette, and have a passion for animal care.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist clients with the check-in/out process.
- Maintain cleanliness by disinfecting lobby and exam rooms.
- File insurance claims and assist with medication requests.
- Handle record transfers to specialty centers and charge clients out.
- Manage lobby traffic and ensure a pleasant experience for guests.
Requirements
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- 1 year of veterinary experience required.
- 2 years of customer service experience required.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills.
