Veterinary Receptionist

About the position

The Veterinary Receptionist position at Northwood Veterinary Clinic is a part-time role focused on providing excellent client service in a veterinary setting. The receptionist will be responsible for managing front office tasks, including answering phones, maintaining medical records, and assisting with inventory management, all while ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for both patients and clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized client service and support at the front desk.
• Answer phones and manage client inquiries.
• Maintain accurate medical records for patients.
• Explain products and vaccine protocols to clients.
• Manage food inventory and assist with supply needs.
• Ensure a clean and organized environment for patients and clients.

Requirements

• Veterinary and/or front office experience preferred but not required.
• Customer service experience of at least 1 year preferred.
• Ability to work scheduled hours on Fridays and Saturdays.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a veterinary setting for at least 1 year is preferred.
