About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their beloved pets, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of our veterinary practice. Your passion for animals and ability to handle various administrative tasks will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for both pets and their owners.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere.
• Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update information as necessary.
• Handle phone inquiries, emails and chats providing information about services, procedures, and pricing.
• Process payments and manage medical collections in accordance with clinic policies.
• Assist veterinary staff with patient intake and discharge procedures.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a veterinary setting is required.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
