The Veterinary Receptionist position at our newly established animal veterinary hospital in Delray Beach involves providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a fast-paced environment. The role is crucial for ensuring smooth operations and a positive experience for pet owners visiting our facility for routine and emergency care.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist clients and their pets upon arrival.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain the reception area.
- Handle phone calls and provide information to clients regarding services and procedures.
- Process payments and manage client records accurately.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support veterinary staff.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in veterinary reception preferred.
- 1 year of general reception experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a veterinary or animal care environment.
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures.
