About the position

The Veterinary Receptionist plays a crucial role in providing exceptional client service in a veterinary clinic. Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients and their pets with a warm and friendly attitude.
  • Efficiently manage appointments and schedule follow-ups.
  • Handle emails and other forms of communication professionally.
  • Ensure all necessary supplies are well-stocked and organized.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail efficiently.
  • Handle phone inquiries, direct calls appropriately, and provide information to clients.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills to ensure every client feels welcomed and cared for.
  • Comfortable and skilled in handling pets of all kinds.
  • General knowledge of a veterinary environment and operations.
  • Previous experience working in a veterinary setting is preferred.
