About the position
4th Street Pet Hospital is seeking a full-time, experienced veterinary technician to join our team in providing high-quality veterinary medical services and customer service to the St. Petersburg area pet population. The role involves performing various diagnostics, assisting with surgical procedures, and providing client education in a supportive and team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform various diagnostics, such as blood analysis, radiology, ultrasound assistance, and dental prophylaxis.
- Assist with surgical procedures and client education.
- Answer multiple phone lines and conduct cash or credit card transactions.
- Schedule appointments.
Requirements
- Minimum two years' experience as a veterinary technician.
- Valid Veterinary Technician Certification license.
- High school diploma or GED.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in veterinary technician roles (3 years preferred).
