About the position

The VFX/Graphics Artist will be responsible for creating visually compelling graphics and effects for a streaming TV pilot titled 'The VARIANT'. This urban action sci-fi series requires an artist who can conceptualize and execute a dystopian vision of Los Angeles, integrating advanced visual effects to enhance the narrative.

Responsibilities

• Create VFX and graphics for the streaming TV pilot 'The VARIANT'.
• Envision and design a dystopian version of Los Angeles using video footage.
• Utilize AI technology to create realistic drone and holographic effects.
• Develop aggressive military looks for drones and replicate them for fleet visuals.
• Incorporate elements of destruction and decay into urban landscapes, such as bombed-out freeways and worn skyscrapers.
• Produce graphics in the style of 'Minority Report' for a futuristic aesthetic.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a VFX/Graphics Artist in film or television.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous work in creating dystopian or sci-fi visuals.
• Proficiency in using VFX software and tools, such as Adobe After Effects, Maya, or similar.
• Ability to conceptualize and visualize complex scenes and effects.
• Experience with drone and holographic graphics.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with urban environments and architecture in Los Angeles.
• Experience in creating graphics for action or sci-fi genres.
• Knowledge of AI technology applications in visual effects.

Benefits

• Compensation of $30 per hour or a flat rate of $2000 for the project.
