About the position

The VHDL Hardware Test Engineer is responsible for conducting research, design, development, and testing of information processing hardware, including computer chips, circuit boards, and electrical components. This role involves designing new products or modifying existing ones, developing technical specifications for production, analyzing hardware configurations, and ensuring hardware meets specifications through rigorous testing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and design for information processing hardware.
• Develop and test hardware components such as computer chips and circuit boards.
• Design new products or modify existing ones based on specifications.
• Develop technical specifications for production processes.
• Analyze hardware configurations and processing solutions.
• Create and execute a Hardware Test Plan to verify VHDL designs.

Requirements

• Secret clearance required.
• Familiarity with VHDL is essential.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 6+ years of experience in hardware testing and verification.
