About the position

The Vice President - Ancillary Services provides executive leadership and continuously improves operations, quality, and finances for various services including Ancillary and Safety Services, Clinical Lab Services, Facilities Management, Spiritual Care, Pulmonary Services, Imaging Services, Support Services, and Rehabilitation Services. This role involves overseeing multiple disciplines across the health system, which includes three hospitals and various outpatient centers. The Vice President will report directly to the Chief Administrative Officer and will have several direct reports including directors from various departments such as Laboratories, Imaging, Facilities Management, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive leadership for Ancillary and Safety Services, Clinical Lab Services, Facilities Management, Spiritual Care, Pulmonary Services, Imaging Services, Support Services, and Rehabilitation Services.
  • Continuously improve operations, quality, and finances for the services under management.
  • Manage multiple disciplines across the health system in healthcare operations.
  • Oversee staff management, budget management, performance improvement, and project management in a matrixed environment.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations related to healthcare services.
  • Develop service line strategies and manage supply chain operations.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
  • 7 years of management experience in healthcare operations, managing multiple disciplines across a health system.
  • Experience in managing staff, budgets, performance improvement, and project management in a matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects with an emphasis on customer service and High Reliability principles.
  • Experience with HICS/NIMS.

Nice-to-haves

  • LEAN certification and experience with Kaizens, Value Streams, operational efficiency, and waste reduction.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $301,600.00 - $452,400.00 based on experience and licensure.
  • Exempt salaried position with a standard work shift of 40 hours per week.
