The VP/CFAO plays a critical role in shared governance and engages with the Board of Regents to support their fiduciary responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and executes strategic priorities for the financial stability of the University.
• Advises the President and Board of Regents on financial matters and conducts audits and assessments.
• Directs financial planning and budget management functions, establishing benchmarks for performance.
• Manages cash flow and maintains the integrity of financial resources.
• Provides oversight for major administrative operations including IT, HR, and facilities management.
• Oversees enterprise risk management and develops risk mitigation plans.
• Establishes metrics and goals for financial and administrative operations.
• Cultivates relationships with financial institutions and ensures compliance with reporting requirements.
• Serves on planning and policy-making committees and represents the University externally.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
• Relevant master's degree preferred.
• CPA or equivalent professional experience in higher education.
