About the position

The Vice President and Head of B2B Applications Growth at Mastercard is a high-profile, customer-facing role focused on developing partnerships with B2B enterprise software companies to enhance Mastercard's digital assets and cross-border payment capabilities. This position involves building relationships, understanding partner strategies, and leading all aspects of partner proposals and deal execution. The role is integral to driving innovation in B2B payments and requires a deep understanding of the fintech landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of Mastercard's products and capabilities in the B2B payments space.
  • Establish partnerships with B2B enterprise solutions to integrate Mastercard's offerings.
  • Assist partners in developing a roadmap and business case for implementing Mastercard's products.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to present a unified approach to partners.
  • Lead partner proposals and deal execution, including business case development and negotiations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10+ years in business development, partnerships, or strategic alliances within B2B payments or fintech sectors.
  • Proven track record of establishing and scaling partnerships with enterprise software companies.
  • Deep understanding of cross-border payment processes and international banking.
  • Ability to identify and prioritize partnership opportunities aligned with company objectives.
  • Experience in structuring and closing complex agreements with large enterprises.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the payments industry.
  • Solid understanding of payment technologies and integration processes.
  • Experience or knowledge of the digital assets space.
