The Vice President of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Ryan Specialty is a pivotal role responsible for shaping and executing the company's AI strategy to enhance both top- and bottom-line performance. Reporting directly to the EVP of IT, Operations, and Data Analytics, the Vice President will oversee the implementation of AI initiatives, ensuring that they are not only innovative but also compliant with data protection and privacy regulations. In this role, the Vice President will monitor the external landscape to identify trends and competitive positioning in the AI space. They will establish effective change management practices and communication strategies, including training for executives and team members on AI technologies. Collaboration is key, as the Vice President will partner with various departments, including IT, operations, and data analytics, to select and implement AI tools and capabilities that drive value across the organization. The Vice President will also be responsible for overseeing the development and deployment of AI models and algorithms, ensuring their performance is continuously monitored and evaluated. Building partnerships with vendors, universities, and research institutions will be essential to explore and implement innovative AI solutions. Additionally, the Vice President will design and implement strategic projects on behalf of the executive team, establishing measures, metrics, and KPIs to monitor the attainment of goals and adherence to standards and controls.
