About the position

The Vice President of B2B Marketing at Mastercard is a key leadership role within the US Integrated Marketing & Communications (IMC) team, responsible for driving brand growth and business development. This position focuses on establishing strategic marketing-sales approaches, developing brand-centric engagement tools, and leading impactful pitches to secure new business. The VP will collaborate across various functions within Mastercard to enhance customer relationships and generate revenue, while also serving as a thought leader and sales enablement expert.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Mastercard IMC lead in the sales process, providing strategic input and overseeing presentation development.
  • Drive sponsorship monetization by building and managing a robust sales pipeline in collaboration with account teams.
  • Develop scalable, experiential marketing programs by guiding creative development and producing compelling sales materials.
  • Serve as the creative lead, working with agency partners to deliver best-in-class sales collateral for pitches.
  • Collaborate with the US consumer marketing team to integrate customer objectives into national brand campaigns.
  • Partner with sales teams to strategize around the RFP lifecycle and identify opportunities with emerging players.
  • Provide thought leadership across the US IMC organization, serving as a sales enablement expert.
  • Sponsor professional development and sales training for B2B and Product Marketing teams.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of a library of top-tier case studies and pitch materials.
  • Align closely with internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive execution of initiatives.
  • Collaborate with IMC disciplines both locally and globally.
  • Define and track success metrics and reporting methodologies for partner marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in Integrated Marketing, Partner Marketing, and/or Business Development roles.
  • Exceptional relationship management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to create intrigue and engagement.
  • Ability to understand and address diverse needs, guiding teams toward successful outcomes.
  • Agile and innovative problem-solving skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong sense of urgency with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with the financial technology and payments industry is a strong plus.
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's in Marketing, Business, or related field.
