About the position

The Vice President of Business Development for Data & Analytics at Gainwell is responsible for overseeing holistic solutions that integrate both business and technical perspectives. This role focuses on driving value across the health and human services ecosystem, addressing complex challenges, and ensuring transformational outcomes for clients. The position requires strong leadership and collaboration skills to influence diverse stakeholders and nurture client relationships, ultimately aiming to improve health outcomes and reduce care inequalities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee holistic solutions from both business and technical perspectives, considering costs, contract terms, and business conditions.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders including Sales leadership, Marketing, Technical Solution Developers, Finance, Legal, and Operations.
  • Nurture relationships with current and prospective clients, identifying and addressing their needs.
  • Sell the value of proposed solution approaches and opportunities to clients.
  • Analyze and interpret contractual, financial, technical, and operational data to solve problems.
  • Identify how technical solutions can meet the key needs of clients.
  • Ensure timely completion of deliverables through strong organizational capabilities.
  • Understand market strategy and apply knowledge of competitors' strengths and weaknesses to new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Twelve or more years of account leadership, business solutions, technical consulting, or sales solutions experience.
  • Experience in the healthcare technology industry, particularly with large scale data warehouse, data integration, and AI platforms.
  • Experience with technology products, services, competencies, solutions, and offerings.
  • Experience with Sales and Pipeline Management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior experience working on government proposals (Federal and/or State and Local).
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence without authority across a team of diverse stakeholders.
