About the position

The Vice President of Business Development for Patient and Site Centric Solutions at IQVIA is responsible for setting the vision and sales strategy for the Clinical Trial Educators and Patient and Site Solutions teams. This role involves developing and leading the overall business development strategy, maximizing key partnerships, and expanding the client base. The VP will also assist sales team members in optimizing their business plans, identify new client relationships, and lead major study deals from proposal to contracting.

Responsibilities

  • Set vision and sales strategy for Clinical Trial Educators and Patient and Site Solutions teams.
  • Develop and lead overall business development strategy.
  • Assist individual sales team members with business plans.
  • Identify and procure new client relationships.
  • Target industry conferences and collaborate with marketing for materials.
  • Lead major Sponsor/CRO study deals from identification to contracting.
  • Follow industry trends to position the solutions for GNB targets.
  • Provide strategic recommendations for engagement plans within partnerships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management required.
  • 15 years relevant industry experience (CRO/Pharmaceutical) and/or sales experience, including 10 years of management responsibility required.
  • Proven track record at developing mid-level and high-level contacts.
  • Strategic business and industry awareness with the ability to translate emerging trends.
  • Solid understanding of commercialization and drug discovery principles.
  • Excellent skills using Microsoft Office Suite: MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to influence others both internally and externally.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring employees.

Benefits

  • Base pay range of $189,600.00 - $352,200.00 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
