About the position

The Vice President, Business Intelligence Developer role at BNY Mellon focuses on leading the analysis and development of internal data sets to create automated data workflows, dashboards, and market intelligence for internal customers. This position is part of the Enterprise Transformation group and requires a strong background in analytics and BI product management, with a hybrid work model based in Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis and development of internal data sets to create automated data workflows, dashboards, and market intelligence.
  • Work with internal customers, Agile coaches, and business partners to define reporting and analytic goals.
  • Independently design automated workflows, data sets, and visualizations to meet internal client needs.
  • Analyze, reconcile, troubleshoot, and review incoming and outgoing data to ensure accurate performance/output.
  • Support stakeholders with ad-hoc data requests and proactive analytics support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive analytics for users.
  • Drive product innovation by staying updated with industry trends in the BI space.
  • Define product metrics, measure performance, and use data to inform product decisions.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in developing PowerBI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
  • Solid understanding of available data sources and ability to leverage systems and databases for analytics.
  • Ability to conduct advanced, complex data analysis and metric needs for assigned tasks.
  • Strong communication skills to convey ideas to diverse audiences and rally associates to a vision.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality products that align with customer vision.
  • Interest in learning new tools and technologies and sharing knowledge with the team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Product Management, operations, and client management.
  • MBA or CFA preferred.
  • Product Leadership Certification preferred.
