About the position

The role focuses on maximizing revenue growth through channel sales by leveraging existing network infrastructure and local market knowledge. It involves leading the Partner Channel, driving a high-performance culture, and collaborating with various teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership of expanding and improving the Partner Channel externally and internally with Lumen's policies, processes, and tools.
  • Lead the Lumen Enterprise Acquire and Customer Success policies, processes, and tools for the Customer/Partner journey.
  • Drive a high performance, results-oriented culture.
  • Design go-to-market product, pricing, and promotion solutions in collaboration with field marketing and product teams.
  • Assist sales directors and Channel Managers in building partner sales engagements and closing deals.
  • Refine and improve the existing channel strategy and define types of partnerships within specific market segments.
  • Partner with sales, marketing, and customer success leaders to adapt strategies across multiple verticals.
  • Understand the competitive market and develop a team of subject matter experts.
  • Act as the voice of the Indirect Field Sales Channel internally to ensure cross-functional collaboration.
  • Direct leadership of channel sales with coordination of sales operations, engineering, and support teams.
  • Develop, implement, and manage sales strategies for the region in line with the GTM strategy.

Requirements

  • Experience as a successful Sales Leader or equivalent in a telecom or technology sales/channel sales environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related work history.
  • Demonstrated experience in exceeding revenue targets.
  • Successful track record bidding and winning sales through the RFP process.
  • Understanding and evaluation of network infrastructure, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Effective management of capital planning and budgeting, including netex, capex, and opex.
