About the position

Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, WI is seeking a VICE PRESIDENT- CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER to join our team! This leadership role is pivotal in maintaining, promoting, and connecting people, both internally and externally, with a clear view of the mission, vision, and values of Aspirus. The Vice President will share responsibility for the ongoing transformation of the organization, which includes leading the development and implementation of revenue enhancement and cost optimization plans. This position champions programs and activities that contribute to a positive working environment, leading to a highly engaged workforce. The Vice President will actively participate and promote system initiatives related to the Patient Experience, ensuring that employees are held accountable for the timely completion of system-wide conditions of employment initiatives, online education, and policy and procedure compliance. Additionally, this role involves championing, participating in, and deploying the Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) vision for the system. The Vice President will lead in a manner that fosters growth, development, coaching, and mentoring of direct reports, while also developing leaders by defining roles and responsibilities, promoting continuous learning, education, and training, and assessing performance. This position also supports Employee Health, Organizational Learning and Development, and Talent Acquisition initiatives, while positively representing the organization in professional and community events. The Vice President will exercise overall budget approval, development, and control within their business unit, aligning operational outcomes with regional and system goals. As an integral, collaborative member of the Regional Executive team, this role is responsible for shared accountability for the overall success of the non-nursing clinical departments. The Vice President will participate with the Senior Administrative staff in evaluating proposed programs, ensuring successful and effective hospital development and management within approved policies. Furthermore, this role provides executive leadership and decision-making authority in the absence of the President of a given Division.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a related field; master's degree desired.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare delivery, operations, and financial management practices.
  • 7-10 years of healthcare leadership experience, including responsibility for clinical departments, program management, clinical outreach, quality, and process improvement.
