About the position

As a Vice President of Claims, Disputes & Fraud Operations Product Analytics at JPMorgan Chase, you will lead the analytics initiatives for the CDFO Product. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive data analysis, develop business cases, and generate insights that support product development and enhance customer experiences. You will be responsible for managing complex data sets, performing statistical analyses, and presenting findings to stakeholders, including executives.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the analytics book of work for Claims, Disputes, and Fraud Operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Customer Experience, UX/UI Design, Software Engineering, and Product Owners.
  • Build and update business cases, perform analysis scoping, and develop hypotheses.
  • Gather data, perform performance analysis, and generate insights for product development.
  • Work as part of agile teams to provide data and analytics support for new product development.
  • Import, clean, transform, and validate data from multiple sources for analytics and modeling.
  • Develop business cases, size addressable populations, and estimate potential impacts on measurement plans.
  • Scope, implement, and track new features and enhancements to the disputes journey.
  • Identify customer interactions and events to understand customer journeys and friction points.
  • Leverage analytical and statistical applications to analyze trends and patterns in complex data sets.
  • Aid in presentations summarizing insights and conclusions for executives.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in hands-on data analysis.
  • Technical expertise in data models, data analysis, and segmentation techniques.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence and analytical tools such as Alteryx and Tableau.
  • Self-sufficiency in querying and extracting data from Enterprise databases (Snowflake, GOS, AWS).
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred in Math, Statistics, Economics, or similar fields.
  • 8+ years of experience in building statistical/machine learning models from multiple data sources.
  • Ability to operate in a self-directed manner with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under time constraints.

Nice-to-haves

  • Operational knowledge of Fraud Customer Protection Services.
  • Experience with financial business cases.
  • Experience in analytics or consumer banking/retail banking.
