In this role, you will work with external clients to resolve the most complex day-to-day issues and direct them to appropriate resources at BNY. You will lead team members in providing support to major clients in addressing and resolving complex operational and technical issues, ensuring requests are executed efficiently. Your advanced problem-solving skills, judgment, and experience will be crucial in analyzing information and delivering high-quality service to a specialized client base. You will provide key individuals at assigned clients with information related to BNY's products and services, leveraging your in-depth understanding of broader BNY services and offerings. Additionally, you will proactively assist clients in reviewing potential business needs and direct them to appropriate resources at BNY. You may serve as the central point of contact for business development and assume client onboarding and/or risk management responsibilities. Resolving the most complex or non-routine client issues or inquiries will be part of your responsibilities. Your knowledge of client issues and needs will contribute to business development efforts, and you will use your broad understanding of BNY products and services to propose expanded offerings to clients for front office consideration. You will also lead and participate in internal activities and initiatives designed to improve the client experience, using your knowledge of client services best practices to help develop process improvements and support multiple, complex client accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Work with external clients to resolve complex day-to-day issues and direct them to appropriate resources at BNY.

  • Apply advanced problem-solving skills, judgment, and experience to analyze information.
  • Deliver high-quality service to a specialized client base using developed communication skills.
  • Provide key individuals at assigned clients with information related to BNY's products and services.
  • Proactively assist clients in reviewing potential business needs and direct them to appropriate resources at BNY.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for business development and assume client onboarding and/or risk management responsibilities.
  • Resolve the most complex or non-routine client issues or inquiries as needed.
  • Contribute to business development efforts using in-depth knowledge of client issues and needs.
  • Propose expanded offerings to clients for front office consideration using broad understanding of BNY products and services.
  • Lead and participate in internal activities and initiatives designed to improve the client experience.
  • Help develop process improvements using knowledge of client services best practices and BNY client needs.
  • Support multiple, complex client accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 7 - 10 years of total work experience preferred.
  • Client Service/Operations experience within financial services is strongly preferred.
  • Corporate Trust background strongly preferred.
  • CLO/CDO background strongly preferred.
  • SOLVAS background preferred.
  • Finance/accounting, compliance/reporting, reconciliation background experience strongly preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with structured finance products.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance in financial services.
  • Familiarity with client relationship management tools.
