About the position

The Vice President - Cohort Hiring Program Manager for Placement & Acclimation at JP Morgan Chase & Co. is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end processes of candidate placement, onboarding, orientation, and acclimation for new hires. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition for new employees into the organization, enhancing their experience from recruitment through their initial days at the company. The position requires a strong focus on innovation, data integrity, and continuous improvement of hiring processes, while also mentoring less-experienced team members.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the end-to-end placement, onboarding, orientation, and acclimation processes in specific locations.
  • Maintain and support the processes and associated key activities.
  • Build relationships with customers and key stakeholders to improve collaboration.
  • Interact with candidates and hiring managers to ensure follow-up on requirements.
  • Increase hiring managers' awareness and adoption of cohort hiring processes.
  • Act as the escalation point of contact for resolving outstanding issues.
  • Identify bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization in the hiring process.
  • Deliver high-quality solutions focused on innovation and stability.
  • Collect and measure candidate and hiring manager preferences and feedback regularly.
  • Communicate business needs for future cohort hiring product development to stakeholders.
  • Leverage analytics to predict issues and take proactive actions.
  • Ensure data integrity throughout the hiring process.
  • Lead and mentor less-experienced team members.

Requirements

  • Strong background in recruiting, program management, and technology, preferably within financial services.
  • Ability to negotiate, solve problems, and empathize with customers.
  • Proven ability to influence and build relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical skills to synthesize information and adapt processes for successful delivery.
  • Demonstrated leadership with high initiative and accountability for strategic decisions.
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for enhancing the new hire experience and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Understanding of risk and reputational issues with the ability to address and escalate them.
