About the position

The Collateral Management Services Product Lead is responsible for the strategy, platform, client delivery, and profitable growth of Collateral Management Services within Citi's Execution Services. This role involves integrating and strategically evaluating Agency Securities Lending and Collateral Management, promoting products to develop new markets, and achieving competitive positioning in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day product management for core products including product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies.
  • Execute client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation.
  • Create a global strategic roadmap, development, launch, and marketing to maximize product benefits.
  • Develop plans and execute functional strategies requiring coordination across units.
  • Manage client and competitor market research and develop a product innovation roadmap.
  • Oversee all aspects of program life cycle management including market demands and technology trends.
  • Drive achievement through acquisition of targets and oversee product financial performance and revenue goals.
  • Develop and communicate a business plan to approach the marketplace and implement team procedures.
  • Drive innovation by collaborating with internal and external partners to develop products and manage vendor relationships.
  • Assess risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in product management or related fields.
  • Experience managing across multi-function and/or global business.
  • Functional experience in product management, specialist sales, or product development.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven analytical abilities.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience negotiating contracts with vendors and clients, familiarity with ISDA CSAs and ACAs.
  • Proven client engagement skills in asset management, insurance, and pension sectors.
  • Market awareness of factors driving client priorities and competitor behavior.
  • Regulatory understanding of collateral management regulations such as Uncleared Margin Rules and MiFID II.
  • Subject matter expertise in cash, custody, securities lending, or fund administration.
  • Rigorous approach to prioritization and project management.
  • Experience in designing effective service models and revenue generation.
