About the position

The Vice President of Commercial North America at Mammotome is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and executing plans to achieve the company's growth and profitability targets. This position involves overseeing a commercial organization that includes Field Sales, Marketing, Sales Operations, and Global Service teams, with a focus on enhancing patient outcomes through innovative breast cancer diagnostics and surgical solutions. The role requires collaboration with various departments and a commitment to building a high-performing, diverse team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direction and leadership to exceed revenue, margin, operating profit, market share, and customer satisfaction goals for the North Americas region.
  • Develop and execute a strategic, comprehensive business plan to achieve financial performance and increase market share.
  • Develop annual budgets based on strategies and ensure adherence.
  • Drive the use of Danaher Business Systems (DBS) tools to enhance business capabilities and motivate teams for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor industry trends and collaborate with the executive team to identify new business development opportunities.
  • Build brand awareness and preference for company products.
  • Lead active and productive interfaces between various business units and departments.
  • Recruit, hire, and build high-performing teams across North America.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field is required; MBA strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in leading cross-functional teams within the medical device industry.
  • Experience in various sales and marketing positions including sales management, product/marketing management, customer service, strategic planning, new business development, and market research.
  • Demonstrated expertise in growing the top line and bottom line, and early identification and development of new technologies and applications.
  • Expertise with Danaher Business Systems tools or similar systems (e.g. Kaizen, Six Sigma).
  • Experience in the selection, development, training, and management of professionals and leaders.
