About the position

As the Vice President, Creative Director at Digitas Health, you will play a pivotal role in leading and mentoring a creative team dedicated to delivering exceptional marketing solutions in the healthcare sector. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the creative process, ensuring that your team produces high-quality work that meets the needs of our clients. You will be expected to win pitches and build client confidence, establishing yourself as a reliable leader capable of managing large-scale, cross-channel deliverables. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the creative vision and strategy for various projects, with a strong focus on improving the creative product as the key measure of success for Digitas Health. In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience in advertising and interactive agencies, particularly in copywriting or art direction, to guide your team in creating impactful campaigns. You will be responsible for reviewing and enhancing the results of every piece of creative work produced by your team, ensuring that it aligns with the strategic goals of our clients. Your background in leading integrated cross-channel campaigns and promotional initiatives will be essential as you develop and nurture a creative team that excels in delivering innovative solutions. This position requires a commitment to collaboration and communication, as you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and expectations. You will also be expected to travel as necessary to meet client and agency requirements, demonstrating your dedication to client satisfaction. The role is hybrid, requiring three days in the office each week, allowing for a balance between collaborative in-person work and remote flexibility.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a creative team to deliver high-quality marketing solutions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of advertising experience with a copy background.
  • Pharmaceutical DTC experience is essential.
  • Ability to nurture and manage client relationships effectively.
  • Experience leading a large Agency of Record (AoR) account.
  • Expertise across all channels with a concentration on broadcast.
  • Proven experience in pitching and winning new business.
  • Availability to work extra hours to ensure client satisfaction.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in digital marketing including Flash and multimedia.
  • Background in direct marketing campaigns.
