About the position

The Vice President of Customer Enablement for North America at PerkinElmer is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing a ~$150M P&L, focusing on the Field Services and Consumables businesses. This position aims to drive profitable growth, enhance operational productivity, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through effective leadership and strategic decision-making. The role requires collaboration with various teams to implement improvements and deliver above-market growth while maintaining a customer-centric approach.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of a comprehensive strategy for rapid growth in the Field Services & Consumables business line in North America.
  • Oversee the improvement of service capabilities and implement operational improvement initiatives to maximize engineer productivity.
  • Direct the creation of annual budgets to achieve above-market growth and identify market opportunities.
  • Demonstrate deep insight into business dynamics and market trends, motivating teams to achieve collective goals.
  • Lead the Service and Consumables sales teams to improve performance and processes, enhancing skills in strategic planning and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the North America product sales leader to build a customer-centric culture and integrate customer feedback into strategies.
  • Work with global teams to integrate processes, standards, and analytics into regional operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or science; post-graduate study preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in life sciences, analytical instruments, or medical devices within a capital equipment, service, and consumables intensive business.
  • Proven track record of profitable sales and market growth as a P&L leader, service leader, or sales team leader.
