The Resolution Planning Analyst is a key contributor to Citi's Resolution Plan, which outlines the procedures for how Citi would be resolved in the event of its failure. This role requires an experienced professional in financial and operational analysis, who is expected to produce detailed analyses, written documentation, and management presentations, as well as regulatory submission documents for regulators in the United States. The Resolution Planning Analyst acts as a strategic partner within the team, staying informed about developments in the regulatory environment and contributing to the directional strategy by considering how these developments apply to their role. In this position, the analyst must possess the ability to understand and interpret rules and regulatory requirements related to Recovery and Resolution. They will be responsible for writing comprehensive content based on these requirements for inclusion in the Recovery and Resolution submissions. The analyst will develop project plan objectives, establish realistic timelines for the Book of Work (BOW), and identify appropriate Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to execute all regulatory capabilities required for the Resolution Plan. The role also involves preparing analyses, reports, presentations, and other communications for senior management, either independently or in collaboration with teams. The analyst will perform monthly runbook processing and validation activities, ensuring alignment with the Central Resolution and Recovery Planning (RRP) team. They will work independently to retrieve and aggregate large data sets from Citi systems to conduct detailed and complex analyses using MS Excel and other tools. Additionally, the analyst may act as a program manager, holding meetings with various counterparts within Citi, understanding the scope of discussions, and taking meaningful notes. They will manage and execute activities associated with system enhancement projects, including writing business requirements, conducting data analysis, assisting with user acceptance testing, and ensuring that changes are implemented effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as the analyst will interact with senior and executive-level management.
