About the position

The Vice President of Data & Analytics at the LEGO Group is a pivotal role responsible for transforming the organization's approach to data, analytics, and AI. This position aims to leverage data to drive critical business decisions and enhance consumer relationships. The VP will lead the implementation of a comprehensive Data and Analytics Strategy and Roadmap, ensuring the organization becomes insights-driven and effectively utilizes AI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on the overall Data & Analytics strategy and roadmap
• Lead and develop a global team of data engineers, data scientists, data managers, analytics, and BI resources
• Define and implement an AI strategy for TLG for both generative and traditional AI
• Raise the awareness of AI within the organization to ensure its consideration in problem-solving
• Manage the current data science team and create a strategy to enhance this capability
• Help the organization become data-driven by integrating data into decision-making processes
• Design and build AI/ML products and microservices for digital products
• Create and implement a Data Insights Ecosystem for real-time information access
• Deliver deep insights to inform business decisions using advanced data science and modeling approaches

Requirements

• Significant data, analytics, and AI experience in a global environment
• Consistent record of delivering data platforms and products and analytic services
• Proven Data Literacy: ability to describe business use cases, data sources, and analytical approaches
• Understanding of predictive and generative AI and industry trends
• Demonstrated leadership in leading complex, multidisciplinary teams
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with business information generation and analysis methods
• Ability to drive business, culture, and technology change
• Ability to explain digital concepts and data techniques to the business
• Experience using Agile and DevOps to deliver solutions
