This includes establishing standard methodologies and guidelines for the data ecosystem. In this role, the Vice President will work closely with other business units, providing mentorship and guidance in implementing the right data infrastructure that meets their specific needs. The position requires a strong background in technology leadership, with demonstrated experience in architecting and building highly scalable data solutions. The candidate will also need to have expertise in modern data architecture techniques and cloud data technologies, as well as experience in evaluating and recommending emerging data technologies and platforms. The Vice President will define information architecture for key domains such as HR, Legal, Risk and Compliance, Finance, Cybersecurity, and Technology Management. They will evaluate data-related tools and technologies, recommending appropriate implementation patterns and methodologies to ensure that Fidelity's data ecosystem remains modern and effective. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with Enterprise Data Architects to establish and adhere to enterprise standards, while also performing proof of concepts (POCs) to ensure those standards remain relevant and effective. The Vice President will provide technical expertise and mentorship to Data Engineers and Data Analysts within the Data Architecture and Engineering Chapter Area, contributing to the overall mission of harnessing valuable data assets through AI/ML to modernize corporate and technology functions.
