About the position

The Vice President of Data Infrastructure, Engineering, Products, and Business Intelligence at Visa is responsible for leading and managing the data platforms, infrastructure, data engineering, product management, and business intelligence functions within the Global Data Office. This role is crucial for democratizing data and analytics across Visa and its clients, unlocking the value of data to drive business growth. The position involves strategic oversight of data technology, engineering, product management, and business intelligence, ensuring alignment with Visa's mission to connect the world through innovative payment solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage data platforms and infrastructure for the Global Data Office.
• Collaborate with the Data Technology team to define and drive data technology capabilities.
• Enhance data science and engineering tasks for increased efficiency and innovation.
• Define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data products.
• Drive transformation from a product-centric model to a platform model.
• Oversee data management ensuring accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.
• Design and implement advanced analytics, reporting systems, and dashboards.

Requirements

• 12+ years of work experience with a bachelor's degree or 10+ years with an advanced degree or 8+ years with a PhD.
• 7+ years of leadership experience in payments or processing solutions management.
• In-depth understanding of the product development lifecycle and market research techniques.
• Strong business acumen, including financial management and strategic planning.
• Experience with service architecture and developing scalable technology products.
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.
