About the position

The Vice President of Digital Sales, North America, is a key leadership role within Visa's newly formed Digital Sales team, aimed at driving revenue growth through innovative sales strategies and technology. This position involves building and managing a regional digital sales hub in Atlanta, focusing on longtail business and leveraging AI, automation, and analytics to enhance sales effectiveness. The role requires a visionary leader with strong strategic and leadership skills to shape the future of digital sales and influence Visa's global sales strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage the North American regional digital sales center and organization.
  • Develop and implement effective sales plans and strategies.
  • Collaborate with leaders across the company to execute prioritized sales initiatives.
  • Partner with regional sales leadership to set priorities, goals, and targets.
  • Forecast sales opportunities and deliver monthly sales and revenue quotas.
  • Maintain a team of top talent and coach, train, and motivate direct reports.
  • Supervise multiple Sales Managers and Business Development Managers.
  • Conduct regular account reviews with direct reports to maximize sales efforts.
  • Create and deliver presentations to executive decision-makers.

Requirements

  • 12 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 10 years with an Advanced degree, or 8 years with a PhD.
  • 10+ years of work experience with an Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience in inside/digital sales/demand response functions.
  • Strong leadership background with experience in sales organizational development.
  • In-depth understanding of outbound sales methodologies, especially in Mid-Market and small business models.
  • Proven track record in leading teams to meet sales targets and manage pipelines.
  • Experience in creating customer-focused sales strategies and performance benchmarks.
  • Deep knowledge of payments and Visa's key payment solutions.
  • Strong ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Excellent statistical and financial analysis capabilities.
  • Extensive forecasting and revenue recognition experience.
