About the position

As the Vice President Director of Creative at Digitas, you will be at the forefront of innovation, leading the charge in developing a new A.I. platform for a large global brand. This role requires a creative leader who is not only passionate about storytelling but also possesses a deep understanding of consumer packaged goods (CPG) and brand standards. You will collaborate closely with both the brand team and the tech team to ensure that the A.I. tool we are building is effective, useful, and aligns with the brand's goals. Your expertise in character-led storytelling and your extensive production experience across various platforms, including TV, digital, and social media, will be crucial in maintaining high-quality creative output. In this position, you will serve as a vital bridge between the creative and tech teams, ensuring that the outputs of the A.I. tool meet the needs of all stakeholders involved. Your ability to build strong relationships internally and externally will foster trust and enable the team to take calculated risks in the creative process. You will be expected to lead with energy, humor, and an open mind, while also being straightforward and respectful towards your peers and the work being produced. Your track record of successful creative work, particularly in brand building and cross-channel campaigns, will be essential as you help guide the company into the future of creative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of a new A.I. platform for a large global brand.
  • Collaborate with brand and tech teams to ensure the A.I. tool is effective and useful.
  • Maintain quality control over creative output across multiple platforms.
  • Serve as a bridge between creative teams and tech teams.
  • Direct the tech team on beneficial outputs of the A.I. tool.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to foster trust and encourage risk-taking.
  • Drive innovative thinking and creative problem-solving within the team.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree in a relevant field.
  • At least ten years of experience at a competitive creative agency.
  • Strong brand building experience with a focus on digital and multimedia.
  • Proven track record of successful creative work and developing cross-channel campaigns.
  • Extensive production experience across TV, digital, and social media.
  • Ability to understand the wants, hopes, dreams, and business goals of a large CPG brand.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with food brands is a plus.
  • Awards in the creative field are a bonus.
