About the position

The VP, Enterprise Data Management is a senior technology management role responsible for leading teams in the strategy, delivery, and support of firm-wide data. This position plays a foundational role in supporting the firm's diverse businesses and is crucial for driving future global growth through strategic solutions and continuous innovation. The role involves overseeing production support, project delivery, and enabling business-line teams involved in analytics and reporting functions.

Responsibilities

  • Build, deploy, and support data assets and tools for operational and executive reporting.
  • Develop technology strategy and roadmaps with enterprise groups, vendors, and internal technology partners.
  • Achieve project and program goals while meeting time, budget, and scope requirements.
  • Stay current on technology trends and industry solutions impacting the firm.
  • Manage vendors providing technology services and solutions.
  • Measure and communicate application stability, monitoring, and production support.
  • Develop scorecards, SLAs, and KPIs to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to technology risk evaluation and manage obsolescence and technology debt.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and external legal requirements.
  • Develop and manage budgets and resources.
  • Collaborate with peers and management on mission, standards, services, and goals.
  • Recruit, build, and mentor teams.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressively responsible experience managing and building IT teams in wealth management or finance.
  • Experience delivering and supporting enterprise data platforms, data architecture & governance, and analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and compliance regulations such as SOX, GDPR, and MiFID II.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with technology, risk, and business teams.
  • Experience leading enterprise technology transformation initiatives and software life-cycle management.
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent combination of education/experience is required; MBA or equivalent is preferred.

  • Experience with AI, ML, and predictive analytics efforts.
  • Hands-on use of various development methodologies.
