About the position
The Vice President - Enterprise Systems at AMLI Residential is responsible for leading teams in software development, business intelligence, database administration, and enterprise system administration. This role involves planning, designing, implementing, and managing the enterprise systems strategy, architecture, policies, and standards. The VP will collaborate with IT leaders, business stakeholders, and external partners to align enterprise systems goals with business objectives, ensuring effective delivery and operations of high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction for enterprise systems staff and external resources.
- Research and understand emerging technologies affecting enterprise systems.
- Analyze ongoing enterprise system performance, security, capabilities, and opportunities.
- Work closely with business leaders to identify and design technology solutions.
- Interface with senior leadership on strategic initiatives.
- Evaluate business case requirements and conduct RFP selection processes.
- Plan, execute, and manage projects according to business requirements.
- Manage operational health and performance of enterprise systems.
- Maintain strategic business relationships with SaaS providers.
- Define and implement enterprise systems policies and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology preferred.
- Ten plus years of experience in Information Technology with leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge in managing software development, database, and BI teams.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of current technology solutions and trends.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL/SSIS/SSAS, PowerBI, Azure, Fabric, and DevOps.
- Experience with SaaS ERP platforms, preferably Workday.
