About the position

The Vice President, Financial Operations and Budget at Trinity Health will provide executive financial leadership and direction to enhance financial operations and stewardship across the organization. This role involves partnering with the Chief Financial Officer to guide the strategic financial direction, focusing on improving financial performance and achieving both short and long-term financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive financial leadership and direction for financial operations and stewardship.
• Partner with the Chief Financial Officer to guide strategic financial direction.
• Lead the development and consolidation of the Annual Plan and forecast.
• Drive standardization and implementation of best practice financial planning and operations processes.
• Monitor performance and lead financial improvement initiatives.
• Provide financial leadership and oversight to executive leadership in planning and budgeting.
• Implement and maintain cost accounting systems and standards.
• Develop strategic and financial analytics for complex business cases.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to address and resolve financial operational issues.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience.
• Broad-based knowledge of finance and the healthcare industry.
• Strong analytical and conceptual abilities.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and financial planning analysis tools.
• Ability to operate in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
