About the position

The Vice President for Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer at Pennsylvania Western University (PennWest) is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the financial and administrative functions of the university. This position requires a strategic leader who can manage various departments, including Fiscal Affairs, Human Resources, and Information Technology Services, while supporting the President's agenda and strategic vision. Responsibilities

  • Manage the offices of Fiscal Affairs, Human Resources, Information Technology Services, and Administration.
  • Lead the annual budgeting processes aligned with the University Strategic Plan.
  • Provide executive leadership and direction to senior division managers.
  • Oversee financial reporting, compliance, risk management, and auditing functions.
  • Administer cash management and investment programs.
  • Manage billing and collection of University tuition and fees.
  • Provide leadership in evaluating the University’s long-range Campus Master Plan.
  • Represent the University on System related governance groups.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, Accounting or a related discipline.
  • At least ten years of progressive management experience in financial and administrative affairs within a complex organization.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior experience administratively supervising Facilities, Human Resources, and Information Technology Service areas.
