About the position

Ohio University (OHIO) is seeking a Vice President for Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer (VPFA-CFO). Located in Athens, a quintessential college town nestled in the Appalachian foothills of Southeast Ohio, OHIO is a financially healthy, public research university with a growing enrollment exceeding 28,000 students. With a new President and a Board committed to the University's mission, it is poised to advance further. The VPFA-CFO will be the chief fiscal officer responsible for the fiduciary integrity of the University and strategic leadership for all financial and physical resources. This role is critical in leading the development of a budget model and financial policies that can foster innovation and ongoing sustainability for the University. The VPFA-CFO will lead the Finance and Administration division, which encompasses a broad portfolio of business functions. The ideal candidate will possess a record of significant leadership achievement in a research university, state government system, or health care administration.
