About the position

The Vice President / General Manager of Commercial & Industrial Field Operations is responsible for leading operations to uphold profitability and align with the company's strategic goals. This role involves developing sustainable and scalable operational strategies, managing P&L, and driving process improvements to exceed customer expectations. The position requires collaboration with leadership teams, continuous assessment of operational performance, and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop clear, concise, and outcome-driven plans that align operations to the company's goals and objectives.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for service delivery.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to ensure cross-functional integration and alignment of business goals and strategy.
  • Regularly analyze and report on operational performance, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Continuously assess and improve operational processes to drive productivity and reduce costs.
  • Allocate resources to maintain high-quality operations while ensuring budget compliance and project profitability.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance.
  • Identify and implement technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Champion internal and external feedback loops that drive continuous improvement to understand customer needs and exceed their expectations.
  • Encourage a culture of innovation, accountability, and adaptability, leading teams through transitions while upholding the organization's values.
  • Guide, direct, and evaluate the work of management and executive team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • Project Management Certification.
  • 10+ years of operations management experience in a large and decentralized service-based business focused on process improvement, optimization, and change management.
  • P&L management experience.
  • Hands-on project budget experience.
  • Expert analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to interpret and leverage data for decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and motivate others to achieve a common goal.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in commonly used and specialized software.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across the business and at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience setting, monitoring, and meeting quarterly and annual goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
