About the position

The Sales Leader for Autodesk's Water Infrastructure business is a visionary role focused on driving business development and revenue generation. This position involves leading sales efforts, managing client relationships, and optimizing processes to enhance operational execution. The leader will also play a crucial role in fostering a diverse and inclusive culture within the organization while ensuring compliance with Autodesk's Culture Code. This role requires a strong understanding of the water utilities sector and the ability to lead effectively in a global capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Tracks, identifies, develops and pursues opportunities for new and existing clients
  • Leads and supports negotiations with clients, partners, and consultants
  • Ensures systems to track progress
  • Leads capture activities and serves as advisor on pricing
  • Uses networks to promote Autodesk
  • Manages budget and trade-offs effectively
  • Ensures compliance with Autodesk Culture Code
  • Keeps abreast of trends in the business environment globally
  • Builds and manages high-performing teams
  • Optimizes infrastructure and processes for scalability
  • Standardizes sales approaches across products/businesses
  • Acts as a culture steward for Autodesk
  • Promotes diversity and inclusion within the team

Requirements

  • 15+ years of broad business leadership experience
  • 10+ years in sales, with 8+ years in the software industry
  • 5+ years of experience partnering and influencing at the CEO Staff level
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills
  • Experience in the Water Infrastructure sector or GIS systems
  • Ability to understand customer scenarios and pain points
  • Proven ability to design and execute high-performing teams
  • People-focused leadership with a collaborative mindset
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Balanced decision-making based on data and emotional intelligence
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Global experience and willingness to travel
