About the position

The Vice President of Global Water Sales will lead Autodesk's Water Infrastructure business, focusing on business development, revenue generation, and operational execution. This role requires a visionary leader who can navigate global markets, optimize processes, and foster a culture of diversity and inclusion within the organization. The position involves significant interaction with clients, partners, and internal teams to drive sales and enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Tracks, identifies, develops and pursues opportunities for new and existing clients
  • Leads and supports negotiations with clients, partners, and consultants
  • Ensures systems to track progress
  • Leads capture activities
  • Serves as advisor on pricing

  • Manages budget effectively, balancing short and long-term trade-offs

Requirements

  • 15+ years of broad business leadership experience
  • 10+ years in sales
  • 8+ years in the software industry, with SaaS experience
  • 5+ years of experience partnering and influencing at the CEO Staff level
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills
  • Experience in the Water Infrastructure sector or utilities market
  • Familiarity with GIS systems for selling to government and utilities
  • Understanding of customer scenarios and pain points in water utilities and municipalities
  • Proven ability to design and execute high-performing teams
  • People-focused leadership with a track record of building collaborative teams
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Balanced decision-making based on data and emotional intelligence
  • Creative problem-solving skills and active listening
  • Global experience with willingness to travel as needed
