About the position

As the Vice President Group Director of Creative at Digitas, you will lead teams in conceptual and strategic thinking across multiple platforms, ensuring that the creative output aligns with the agency's vision of creating magnetic experiences that resonate with human networks. Your role will involve understanding the value of strategic insights, experiences, and storytelling to effectively create and sell your team's ideas to clients and stakeholders. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with various agency capabilities, including strategy, media, data and analytics (DnA), and technology, to foster collaboration and innovation in creative projects. In this position, you will advocate for high-quality craft across all capabilities, including production and technology, ensuring that the creative work produced meets the highest standards. Building trust with clients will be essential, as you will need to understand their business needs and identify opportunities for creative solutions that drive results. Additionally, you will play a key role in recruiting and retaining top creative talent, building a diverse team with a wide range of relevant skills to enhance the agency's creative capabilities. You will also work closely with HR and Creative Operations to manage the daily workload and career development of your direct reports, fostering an environment that encourages creativity and professional growth. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and cultural shifts will be crucial, as you will be expected to challenge yourself creatively and help drive the agency's creative culture both internally and externally. This role is pivotal in shaping the agency's creative direction and ensuring that Digitas continues to deliver ambitious outcomes for its clients.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Four-year degree and at least ten years at a competitive creative agency.
  • Strong brand-building, digital and multimedia experience.
  • Track record of successful creative work, along with expertise leading cross-channel campaigns.
  • Energy, a sense of humor, and an open and curious mind.
  • Straightforward, candid, and respectful attitude towards work and peers.

Nice-to-haves

  • Awards in the creative field are a bonus, but original breakthrough ideas and real creative problem-solving are preferred.
