About the position

As the Vice President of Growth and Engagement Marketing at Teladoc Health, you will lead the development of strategies aimed at acquiring, activating, engaging, and retaining consumers across the company's diverse healthcare platform. This role is pivotal in driving positive health outcomes for over 90 million US consumers by utilizing data-driven marketing strategies and overseeing a talented team of approximately 30 marketers. You will collaborate with various cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious growth objectives and optimize a significant marketing budget.

Responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive, data-driven marketing strategies to achieve brand awareness, new customer acquisition, visit, and engagement targets.
  • Manage marketing across the full consumer lifecycle from acquisition to onboarding, activation, multi-program usage, engagement, and retention.
  • Optimize a marketing budget exceeding $70M to increase investment efficiency year over year.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly marketing business unit reviews.
  • Mentor and inspire a team of growth and lifecycle marketers, providing guidance on value propositions, messaging, and campaign measurement.
  • Utilize analytics to shape marketing strategies and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.
  • Collaborate with product teams to align marketing initiatives with product development.
  • Develop segmentation, targeting, and propensity models for effective member outreach.
  • Lead the creation of new messaging and value propositions for diverse audiences.
  • Implement a robust test and learn agenda using A/B and multivariate testing methodologies.
  • Research insights to identify new growth opportunities and validate proof of concept for novel initiatives.
  • Execute integrated marketing campaigns with internal and external agencies to enhance engagement and health outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience leading consumer growth and engagement marketing teams.
  • Exceptional leadership and team mentorship skills with a track record of fostering continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Mastery of the consumer conversion funnel from awareness to conversion.
  • Experience with multi-touch attribution modeling and media mix modeling.
  • Proficient in managing and optimizing significant marketing investments.
  • Experience managing internal and external agencies.
