About the position

The Vice President of Digital Marketing at Cohen & Steers is a leadership role responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that aligns with the company's global objectives. This position oversees various digital marketing initiatives, including web properties, email marketing, lead generation, and analytics, while managing a team of digital marketing professionals. The role is critical in enhancing the firm's brand recognition and driving client engagement through innovative digital marketing practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive digital marketing strategy and roadmap.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of four digital marketing professionals.
  • Define clear responsibilities, SLAs, and KPIs for digital marketers, holding the team accountable for their deliverables.
  • Manage and optimize Cohen & Steers' digital assets, including websites, email marketing, SEO, and sales enablement tools.
  • Facilitate open communication across teams and establish partnerships with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
  • Manage multiple digital marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key digital metrics to optimize performance and inform decision-making.
  • Oversee the development and execution of the firm's digital roadmap, managing project intake for strategic alignment.
  • Inform targeted email marketing campaigns and lead generation programs to drive client engagement and retention.
  • Ensure digital marketing is integrated within the firm's owned, earned, and paid media strategy.
  • Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of digital marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a digital marketing team, with experience managing direct reports.
  • Extensive experience managing complex digital projects from concept to completion.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex digital projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with web analytics tools, marketing automation, CMS, and CRMs, preferably Google Analytics, WordPress, Salesforce, and Pardot.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships across departments.
  • Ability to analyze data to drive decisions, optimize sites and campaigns, and measure ROI.
  • Familiarity with the asset management industry, including knowledge of financial products and regulatory requirements.
