About the position

Samsung is seeking an integrated marketing leader to oversee the development, management, and implementation of marketing strategies aimed at acquiring and retaining customers for Samsung Home Entertainment (HE) products. This role encompasses brand product positioning, go-to-market product launches, merchandising, digital marketing optimization, and promotional marketing to enhance sell-through activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of results-focused marketing professionals.
  • Support the annual volume, share, and financial objectives for the Home Electronics brand by creating awareness and affinity for HE products.
  • Create, establish, develop, and deliver the marketing activity set for the upcoming calendar year.
  • Identify and leverage consumer insights for brand communication and product propositions.
  • Oversee target audience definition and analyze existing market research to shape the target audience.
  • Craft compelling value propositions that communicate the experiences of Samsung products to the target audience.
  • Oversee campaign management, optimizing strategy, plan, and creative deliverables for all marketing campaigns in the HE sector.
  • Develop, implement, deliver, and measure the results of marketing initiatives that drive brand growth.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure timely delivery of agreed brand activities.
  • Document the quarterly and annual marketing plan detailing initiatives and priorities that align with business growth.

Requirements

  • 20+ years of marketing experience across multiple brands and segments.
  • 15+ years leading sales-led marketing teams in a heavily matrixed organization, preferably in the CE, CPG, or Retail industry.
  • 10+ years of experience driving omni-channel/digital marketing initiatives with a strong understanding of the digital ecosystem.
  • Proven track record of leading and developing teams and collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Intimate understanding of retail partnerships, particularly with $1B+ accounts.
  • Ability to apply consumer insights and analyses to diagnose issues and discover opportunities.
  • Strong grasp of brand marketing fundamentals and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experience working with marketing agencies to deliver integrated marketing plans and promotions.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in developing marketing and sales presentations using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
