About the position

The Vice President, Lead Investment Banker for Industrial Services at Wells Fargo is a key role within the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) that focuses on delivering comprehensive banking, capital markets, and advisory solutions to corporate, government, and institutional clients. This position involves independently managing complex transactions, developing financial strategies, and maintaining client relationships, particularly within the industrial services sector. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Independently work with clients and handle complex transactions.
• Originate, structure, and execute Corporate and Investment Banking products and services for existing clients and prospects.
• Formulate financial strategy and policy with clients at the executive management level.
• Manage client relationships and execute mandated assignments in public and private equity, M&A, loan, and high yield and convertible securities transactions.
• Demonstrate a habit of learning and mastering complex material and communicate effectively.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Investment Banking experience or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Strong track record of originating and executing M&A and capital markets transactions.
• Ability to lead junior staff.
• Highly developed writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions in a fast-paced environment.
